What You Need

How To Make These Easy Turkey Meatballs

This recipe couldn’t be any simpler!

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and combine well without overmixing. Just mix until everything is combined.
  2. Form into ping pong ball-sized meatballs. I get 16 meatballs out of this recipe.
  3. Line them up in your pre-heated air fryer and air fry at 375-F for 7-8 minutes or until the internal temperature has reached 165-F.
  4. Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!

Chef Jenn’s tips

  • You can use regular breadcrumbs or Panko in this recipe. Either works fine.
  • No fresh parsley? Add 1 tbsp dried parsley instead.
  • Mix things up! Make these Italian-style with 1/2 tbsp of your favorite Italian seasoning, add some spice with chipotle powder, or go Greek with a side of Tzatziki.
  • This recipe doubles beautifully, just don’t overfill your air fryer. Make them in two batches if the basket is too full.

What To Serve With These Turkey Meatballs

Use your favorite sauce to turn these meatballs into spaghetti and meatballs, or serve them as they are with tasty sides like this Baked Spanish Rice or Pasta with Ricotta and Tomatoes. I also love skipping the sauce and serving these tasty meatballs with baked Bacon Macaroni and Cheese. So good!

Storage Tips

This is the perfect meal prepping recipe. Make a double batch and eat one for dinner and freeze the other for another meal.

Here’s another idea: make this easy meatball recipe and freeze them in a single layer on a sheet pan. Then, once frozen, pop them into a zipper-top freezer bag and just heat up as many as you need for a meal. This is a great idea for meatballs for one.

They will keep in the fridge, in an air-tight container, for 5 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you keep turkey meatballs from falling apart?

Turkey meatballs can fall apart if the balance of wet and dry ingredients is off, and ground turkey is already moist. Use an egg to help bind the meat, and 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs per pound of ground turkey. Don’t over-mix them, and they’ll cook up perfectly!

What can I use instead of egg?

If you don’t want to use an egg, I’d use 2 tbsp of milk, cream, or buttermilk instead. Even sour cream will work.

Can I reheat frozen meatballs in the air fryer?

You can reheat these frozen meatballs in the air fryer set to 350-F for about 6 minutes or until heated through.
