Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the flour with salt and pepper, then dredge the pork chops in the mixture.
Brown the chops in the oil, until golden brown then flip and brown the other side. Work in batches if necessary so you don't over crowd the pan. Transfer the browned chops to the slow cooker insert.
Add the browned chops and remaining ingredients to the slow cooker.
Cook on high for about 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
After the cooking process, remove the chops from the cooker.
Puree half the sauce in a blender or food processor for a smoother texture.
Return the chops to the sauce, season to taste, and serve hot.

- To make Slow Cooker Swiss Pork Chops gluten-free, use gluten-free flour for dredging.
- For a bit of spice, add a dash of red pepper flakes to the slow cooker.
