Ingredients

  • 2 ½ deli ham thinly sliced, chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • ½ cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 large egg
  • teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces crescent rolls refrigerated

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Stir together the ham, onion, Swiss cheese, egg, Dijon, and pepper until fully combined.
  • Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into 24 equal pieces. Lightly press each piece into a greased mini muffin tin, creating small cups.
  • Add about 1 tablespoon of the ham filling to each cup.
  • Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until puffed up and golden.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before taking them out of the muffin tin. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Chef Jenn's Tips

  • A pizza cutter makes it easy to divide the dough evenly.
  • You can prep the filling ahead and store it in the fridge.
  • Try cheddar or gruyere instead of Swiss for a twist.
  • Add chopped parsley or a sprinkle of cheese on top before baking for a little extra color or flavor.
