- 8 sslices garlic bread I like using prepared garlic bread—it’s so easy!
- 8 slices aged Havarti or your favorite sharp cheddar; sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella or another mild, easy-melting cheese; shredded
Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
Place four slices of garlic bread buttered side down on the skillet.
Top each slice with two pieces of Havarti (or cheddar) and sprinkle ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella over the sliced cheese.
Place another slice of garlic bread, buttered side up, on top of each sandwich.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing down slightly with a spatula to help the cheese melt and create a crispy golden crust. The bread should be golden brown, and the cheese fully melted.
Remove from the skillet and let the sandwiches rest for a minute before slicing and serving.
