Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain grease, season with garlic salt, pepper, and Worcestershire, then spread on a pie plate. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • In a bowl, whisk baking mix, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour over the beef mixture.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with burger toppings if desired: diced tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onion, or burger sauce.

Notes

Chef Jenn’s Tips

  • Swap cheddar with Colby Jack or Monterey Jack for a fun twist.
  • Want a veggie boost? Add mushrooms or chopped spinach to the beef mixture.
  • Leftovers heat up nicely in the microwave or oven and make an easy lunch.
