Preheat the oven to 400-F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt and transfer the dry ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.
Add the cold butter cubes and pulse until crumbly. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl.
Combine the milk, sour cream, and 1 egg in another bowl. Mix well.
Add the ham, cheese, and green onions to the wet mixture and combine.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until the dough is shaggy.
Transfer the dough to a floured piece of parchment paper and pat into a circle, then cut into wedges.
Transfer the scone on the parchment paper to the baking sheet. Whip the remaining egg in a small bowl then brush the tops of the scones with the egg wash.
Bake at 400-F until golden brown and cooked through; about 20-25 minutes.
