Ham & Cheese Scones

  • Preheat the oven to 400-F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt and transfer the dry ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.
  • Add the cold butter cubes and pulse until crumbly. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl.
  • Combine the milk, sour cream, and 1 egg in another bowl. Mix well.
  • Add the ham, cheese, and green onions to the wet mixture and combine.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until the dough is shaggy.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured piece of parchment paper and pat into a circle, then cut into wedges.
  • Transfer the scone on the parchment paper to the baking sheet. Whip the remaining egg in a small bowl then brush the tops of the scones with the egg wash.
  • Bake at 400-F until golden brown and cooked through; about 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool and enjoy!
