4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken
This is comfort food 101! So easy and so good, the chicken is moist, the topping is tasty, and the gravy in the bottom of the slow cooker is delish!

- 1 pound chicken breast or 4 small breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 box stuffing mix 6 ounce box
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
- salt and pepper
Pour the water or chicken broth into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Combine the stuffing mix and cream of chicken soup in a bowl - add optional spices if desired.
Top the chicken with the stuffing mixture.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F on a digital thermometer.

- You can use frozen chicken breasts, but you'll have to add about 2 hours to the cooking time.
- Use cream of mushroom soup for a slightly different flavor, or add chopped carrots, chopped onion, mushrooms or even a few potatoes to the crock pot under the chicken.
- Use low-sodium soup or season the chicken very lightly. It will be too salty if you season the chicken well AND use regular cream soup.
- Scoop up the sauce from the bottom of the slow cooker and serve it as gravy.
