- 1 lb breakfast sausage roll
Partially freeze the sausage tube. This is to make it easier to remove the wrapping and to handle it without it falling apart. About 30 minutes in the freezer should do the trick.
Preheat your Traeger smoker to 180-F.
Smoke the sausage tube right on the grill rack for 30 minutes at 180-F. This is to give it lots of sweet smoky flavor.
Turn the heat up to 225-F and continue smoking for about an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165-F.
