  • Preheat your griddle to medium high while you wash and prep the asparagus.
  • Add the asparagus to the griddle in a single layer and add a few tablespoons of oil to it.
  • Cook it for 2-3 minutes flipping it over halfway through.
  • Cover with the basting cover (cloche, cooking dome) and lift one side to squirt in a few tablespoons of water to create steam.
  • Steam the asparagus for 2-3 more minutes then remove the lid.
  • Add the seasoning, move the asparagus around, and cook until the desired doneness.
