- 2 1/2 cups white chocolate chips divided
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk can
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup red velvet cake mix
- sprinkles
Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and 2 cups of white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each to help the chocolate melt evenly, until the mixture is smooth.
Add the red velvet cake mix to the bowl and stir until the color is uniform.
Transfer the batter to the freezer for at least 30 minutes until it holds its shape when scooped.
Scoop the batter with a cookie dough scoop, then roll each scoop into a smooth ball. Set aside on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Melt the remaining white chocolate chips using the same process of 30-second intervals and frequent stirring.
Scoop the melted chocolate into a small zipper-top baggie, cut off the corner, then drizzle the white chocolate over the truffles.
Add the Christmas sprinkles before the white chocolate drizzle hardens.
Chef Jenn's Tips
- Use a piping bag instead of a zipper-topped baggie if you have one.
- This is a great recipe for kids to help with. They can roll the truffles, and help decorate them.
- Get creative! Decorate the Christmas truffles however you like!
