- 1 pound sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Peel the sweet potatoes with a vegetable peeler, then cut them into 1-inch circles. Cut each circle into 1-inch squares.
Combine the ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt and pepper in a bowl.
Toss the sweet potato cubes with the spice mixture, then drizzle the oil over the top and toss to mix well.
Preheat your air fryer to 400-F and when ready, add the sweet potato cubes to the air fryer in a single layer.
Air fry at 400-F for 5 minutes and then stir.
Air fry for an additional 6-8 minutes or until the potato cubes are tender.
Transfer the air fryer sweet potato cubes to a serving dish and enjoy!

- All air fryers are different and cook at different speeds, so cooking times may vary. You want the potatoes to be fork-tender and a bit crispy on the outside.
- Like your sweet potato cubes spicy? Add a 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or chipotle powder to the spice mix.
- Don't cut your potatoes too small, or they'll overcook, and if you cut them too big, they'll take longer to cook.
- For the best crisping, cook the potatoes in one layer.
